In a cozy little town called Flourville, there lived a young baker named Leo. Leo loved to bake more than anything in the world. Every morning, he would wake up before the sun and mix flour, sugar, and butter to make the most delicious bread. His bakery, “Sunrise Rolls,” was famous for its warm, crusty loaves and sweet pastries that made everyone smile.

One evening, as Leo was putting the last batch of cinnamon rolls into the oven, he looked up at the starry sky and whispered, “I wish I could bake a cake that would reach the stars.” His friends, a little mouse named Mimi and a sparrow named Pip, heard him. Mimi squeaked, “Leo, you can do anything if you believe!” Pip chirped, “Let’s all help you make the tallest cake ever!”

The next morning, Leo started his biggest adventure. He mixed a mountain of flour, a waterfall of milk, and a rainbow of sprinkles. Mimi and Pip gathered eggs from the henhouse and berries from the forest. Leo kneaded the dough with all his might, shaping it into a towering cake. As it baked, the sweet smell floated through Flourville, and all the children followed the scent to the bakery.

When Leo opened the oven, the cake had grown so tall that it burst through the roof! It kept rising and rising, higher than the tallest tree, higher than the clouds, until it touched the sky. Leo climbed onto a ladder made of pretzels and cookies, with Mimi on his shoulder and Pip flying beside him. They climbed up the giant cake, past frosting icicles and candy stars.

At the very top, Leo placed a single cherry that shone like a diamond. The moon smiled down at them, and the stars twinkled in delight. “You did it, Leo!” squeaked Mimi. “Your cake did reach the stars!” chirped Pip. Leo laughed and said, “It wasn’t just me. It was all of us, working together.”

From that night on, every child in Flourville dreamed big, knowing that with a little help from friends, even the tallest dreams can come true. And every morning, they would visit “Sunrise Rolls” for a slice of Leo’s magic bread, which always tasted a little bit like a star.
