Once upon a time, in a lush green forest, there lived a tiny tree frog named Tilly. Tilly was bright green with big, curious eyes. She loved to explore the tall trees and jump from leaf to leaf. Every evening, as the sun set and the stars began to twinkle, Tilly would climb to the highest branch to watch the moon rise. She felt safe and happy in her treetop home.

One night, Tilly heard a soft cry. It was coming from a nearby bush. She hopped over and found a little butterfly named Bella, whose wing was tangled in a spiderweb. “Please help me!” Bella whispered. Tilly gently pulled the web aside and freed Bella. “Thank you, Tilly!” said Bella. “You are so kind.” From that night on, Tilly and Bella became best friends. They played hide-and-seek among the flowers and danced under the moonlight.

One day, a big storm came to the forest. The wind howled, and the rain poured down. Tilly held onto a branch tightly, but she was very scared. She saw that Bella was struggling to stay on a flower petal. Tilly jumped over and used her strong little feet to pull Bella to a safer spot under a large leaf. They waited together as the storm passed. “You are very brave,” said Bella. “Thank you for saving me again.”

After the storm, the forest was quiet and peaceful. Tilly and Bella sat on a branch and watched the stars. Tilly said, “I was scared, but I knew I had to help you. Friends take care of each other.” Bella hugged Tilly. “You are the best friend a butterfly could have.”

Tilly learned that even though she was small, she could be brave and help others. She felt proud of herself. As she closed her eyes to sleep, she thought about all the adventures she would have with Bella. And the moon smiled down on the two little friends, shining its gentle light on their peaceful forest home.

Goodnight, Tilly. Goodnight, Bella. Sweet dreams under the starry sky.
