In a cozy valley nestled between towering mountains, there lived a small, green dragon named Spark. Spark had shiny scales that shimmered in the sunlight and big, curious eyes that loved to explore. But there was one thing Spark couldn’t do yet—fly. All the other dragons soared high in the sky, their wings flapping gracefully, while Spark stayed on the ground, feeling a little sad.

One sunny morning, Spark decided it was time to try. With a deep breath, Spark flapped tiny wings and jumped into the air. But instead of flying, Spark tumbled down with a soft thud. “Oh no,” Spark whispered, feeling discouraged. Just then, a wise old owl named Hoot landed nearby. “Hello, little one,” Hoot said kindly. “I see you’re trying to fly. It takes practice and courage. Would you like some help?”

Spark nodded eagerly, and Hoot began to teach Spark how to balance and use the wind. They practiced every day, with Hoot cheering Spark on. Sometimes, Spark would fall, but each time, Spark got back up, determined to learn. One afternoon, a gentle breeze blew through the valley, and Spark felt a lift. Flapping harder, Spark rose a few inches off the ground! “I’m doing it!” Spark exclaimed with joy.

As days passed, Spark grew stronger and more confident. With Hoot’s guidance, Spark learned to glide and turn, feeling the freedom of the sky. Soon, Spark could fly higher and higher, joining the other dragons in playful loops and dives. The valley echoed with laughter and the sound of wings whooshing through the air.

That evening, as the sun set in a blaze of orange and pink, Spark flew back to the nest, tired but happy. Snuggling up, Spark realized that with patience and a little help from friends, anything is possible. Drifting off to sleep, Spark dreamed of soaring over clouds and discovering new worlds, ready for more adventures tomorrow.
