In a lush green garden, there lived a tiny praying mantis named Mimi. She was small but had a big heart. Every day, she watched the other insects play and wished she could join them. But they often said, “You’re too small, little mantis!”
One sunny morning, a gentle butterfly named Bella fluttered by. “Why are you sad, Mimi?” she asked. Mimi sighed, “Everyone thinks I’m too little to do anything fun.” Bella smiled, “Being small doesn’t mean you can’t be brave. Come with me!”
They flew to the tallest sunflower. Along the way, they met a busy ant carrying a heavy crumb. The ant was struggling. Mimi said, “Let me help!” She used her strong front legs to lift the crumb. The ant was amazed. “Thank you, little mantis!”
Next, they saw a caterpillar who had lost his way home. Mimi climbed a blade of grass and looked around. “Follow me!” she said. She led the caterpillar back to his leaf, using her keen eyesight to find the way.
Finally, they reached the sunflower. But a big raincloud was coming! The other insects were scared. Mimi stood tall. “Don’t worry, I’ll protect you!” She spread her wings and stood in front of the small bugs. The rain poured, but Mimi didn’t move. She stayed strong until the rain stopped and a rainbow appeared.
The garden creatures cheered. “Mimi, you are the bravest of all!” they shouted. Bella smiled, “See, being small doesn’t stop you from being a hero.” Mimi felt proud. She learned that courage comes from the heart, not from size.
That night, as the stars twinkled, Mimi drifted off to sleep, dreaming of her next adventure. She knew that with a brave heart, she could do anything.
